Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering (DAELT) and the Graduate Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering (CPGEI) of UTFPR. As a researcher, my main intererest is in Invserse Problems (inferring information from incomplete, noisy measurements), especially signal/image reconstruction, as well as its classically related areas, e.g., convex optimization, physics modelling and simulation, linear algebra, and spectral analysis. As for applications, acoustics and ultrasonics have been in the core of my research projects since 2011.
