Daniel Rodrigues Pipa received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil, in 2004, and the M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 2009 and 2012, both from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ).
From 2005 to 2012, he worked for Petrobras at Research and Development Center (CENPES) in the fields of signal, image and video processing applied to equipment integrity. In 2011, he was a visiting researcher at University of California, San Diego.
He has been an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), Curitiba, Brazil, since 2012. His current research interests include statistical signal processing, signal and image reconstructions, inverse problems, compressive sensing and related areas.
